Future


I don’t really know what to expect for the future. I have a feeling that were going to repeat our selves or destroy our selves. There was a huge event where teens were eating tide pods because of the Internet. This makes me fear for the future because of how malleable the younger generation is. I feel that the future is going to be like black mirror, where we have great advances in technology, but the people haven’t really evolved with it so we just make the same mistakes.

Marry Shelley's Frankenstein

After reading Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley, I’ve come to the realization that my interpretation of Frankenstein’s monster was wrong. To everyone Frankenstein’s monster is a dimwitted muscle head that has no thought possess of his own. The irony of this viewpoint is that Frankenstein’s monster’s wish, told by the monster himself, is for people to look beyond his disfigured face and see him as his true self, one desperately wanting to be apart of something, to belong. I found Hollywood’s interpretation of this book extremely interesting.
