Marry Shelley's Frankenstein

After reading Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley, I’ve come to the realization that my interpretation of Frankenstein’s monster was wrong. To everyone Frankenstein’s monster is a dimwitted muscle head that has no thought possess of his own. The irony of this viewpoint is that Frankenstein’s monster’s wish, told by the monster himself, is for people to look beyond his disfigured face and see him as his true self, one desperately wanting to be apart of something, to belong. I found Hollywood’s interpretation of this book extremely interesting. They have done what every character in the book has done and views Frankenstein’s monster as a disfigured being and took him for face value, a monster with no thought process that only demonstrates rage and destruction.             It is true in the beginning Frankenstein’s monster from a outsiders point of view is a monster causing destruction however, you later learn that Frankenstein’s monster was overwhelmed with his sev
